install issues and now a routing error

Running debian linux. Git is installed.
attempted script/plugin install git://github.com/activescaffold/active_scaffold.git
recieved a socket timeout
and unable to connect a socket error
did script/plugin install http://github.com/activescaffold/active_scaffold.git
and was able to install plugin

Now I'm getting this error:
ActionController::RoutingError in Departments#index

What do you have in your routes file? Do you have something like:

map.resources :departments, :active_scaffold => true
