Since most people still haven't found out how and why they get all those emails, let me break it down for y'all real quick...

 

Somebody (who by now probably is trying to escape to some deserted island because the whole industry is mad at him - Brian if you see him at the Power Summit on the Bahamas, you know what to do) opened up some email group account at Google. Those accounts work like this: You register all the email-addresses you want your newsletter to go to with the Google account and all you have to do then is just write one email to a-al...@googlegroups.com (e.g.) and Google will automatically forward this mail to everyone registered with the group-account.

This guys intentions probably were good, cause you never heard anything from the A-Alikes and let's just say it's not because of their music... It all started because some dude wanted to register to the newsletter and then shit started to go down. For some strange reason the account has a bug in it, so not only the owner's emails get forwarded to everybody on the list but also all of the replies. This is were the madness started.

 

Since the mysterious owner (is it the revenge of Saddam Hussein? or maybe just 50 because nobody seems to like him anymore...) does not even seem to notice up to now, let's just take care of it by ourselves. Obviously everybody and his mom is on this list, so please be careful with it.

If you think you have gotten a private email, please check again, if it says a-al...@googlegroups.com in the recipients, we have it too.

If you wanna reply to what you think is a private email sent to you, please make sure it does not say a-al...@googlegroups.com in the recipients after you hit the reply button, otherwise we have it too.

 

Everybody still getting mad at people sending them 268 messages a day, we're sorry but it ain't our fault (hold up, this didn't work for Mystikal back then either...). Yes, it is your fault, you just need to have a closer look at your email's recipient.

If everybody is using this carefully, we can turn this into a great free promotion tool for all of us, since not even all of the email addresses are revealed. But please don't send any unsubscribe or remove messages and no complains about anything, because you who are complaing about this are just doing the same thing: sending some senseless stuff to a whole bunch of people that don't even know you. To everybody that found a new bootycall through this, good luck player.
