Using This List

Hi All

I have been a mildy active participant in this list for a few years.
As well as getting fast and accurate responses I have frequently used
the search facility to find answers. But now something has
changed......I do a search on something like FET and I get two
responses....for july.....has the Group data been archived....or have
I done something to my membership that only shows current months
messages???

Thank you for posting this observation!
I too have come back to check the archives for something I couldn't
figure out and was puzzled as to why the google groups search went
away for past posts.

However inconvenient, the archives are still available either through
the standard google search of site:http://groups.google.com/group/
TiddlyWiki <your search terms> or by clicking the About groups link at
the right nav area: http://groups.google.com/group/TiddlyWiki/about?pli=1

In the past, I looked at the group archives as a TiddlyWiki knowledge
base, but this recent search limitation highlights the importance of
tiddlywiki.org or another community source.

It is an old story: we appreciate more, only when it's gone... :-(

Let's hope that's just a temporary bug.
It would be odd for Google to restrict access to the group archives.

The bug still persists.
In the meantime, it appears that the global GGroups search covers the
full archive - for example:
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&q=TiddlyWiki%20interwiki
