Hi eagle0877
I use iTW (
http://itw.bidix.info/) on my TYTNII(
http://www.htc.com/www/
product/tytnii/overview.html ) with OperaMobile (
http://www.opera.com/
mobile/) or SkyFire (
http://www.skyfire.com/).
BidiX's iTW looks best on an iPhone - because of the Safari-browser.
You can obtain a VERY nice look (similar to Safaris) on a pc with
Google Chrome (I use Chromium on a usb (The portable version)).
The Skyfire browser provides the best javascript- and flashexperince -
and I've had no trouble navigating all kinds of TWpages and using the
functionalities of different plugins - with Opera I've had different
issues with popups not "popping away" again etc... But I like the
navigation better in Opera...
At some point I saved a page on my sdcard and opened it with Opera
(forgot how) - but I never was able to save any edits.
This isn't a problem with iTW - because it uses tiddlerUploadPlugin -
for uploading single tiddlers on the fly, which saves bandwith and work
very well - because it is invoked every time you have edited a
tiddler.
If you use toggletags or datainput via html - it's neccesary to edit
the tiddlers in question individually or use a script for saving all
the tiddlers in question - at once..
I recomend iTW by BidiX because of it's design for mobile use - but
any tiddlywiki can be used.
NB! I can't get tiddlyspot to accept single tiddler upload - so I use
my own ftp-server with BidiX's phpfiles adjusted accordingly...
iTW can be located on your sdcard, run in the Opera Mobile browser and
save (upload all or tiddlerwise) to net -The changes are NOT saved
locally.
2) If you can specify the networkadress to the file on a shared drive
on your pc - you should be able to open it with Opera mobile - with
SkyFire I cannot open any local files - but any file with a http:Url
works ... - don't know why - try it...
Sorry but I don't know anything about WhisperJ2ME ...
