duplicate bug in gmarks 0.9.7.3

Say I'm at facebook and I drag this link into gmaks

A. Smith
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1

If I later drag the same link into gmarks nothing happens. I get no
duplicate.

But if I drag the tab for the same link the name is different...

Facebook | A. Smith
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1

...and if I drag it into gmarks I get a duplicate.

John - I really hope after FF 3 comes out - you'll make an add-on for
Firefox bookmarks. I'd like to leave all these googlish problems
behind me.

Whoops - I should have given you more info.

The duplicates are still there...
- after refreshing
- after logging out and logging back on
- after restarting firefox

They are permanent.

Sometimes I find duplicates in my "movies" label. It has so many
bookmarks and sub-labels too so I don't know how duplicates have
gotten there - I might have dragged a tab or bookmarked a link or
bookmarked a page.

Sometimes duplicates have exactly the same url

example the movie "The Missing"

I open a link a link in a tab - just in case. Sometimes if I delete
one - they both die.

Of course there are also "near duplicates" too

I don't know if it's possible or practical but it would be great if
gmarks checked for "near duplicates" too.

I use gmarks to bookmark youtube videos and youtube has loads of links
that point to the same thing

Oh, so they aren't actually duplicate bookmarks, but they appear twice since the same label is added to the bookmark more than once. I'll look into that.
I'm not sure if I'll end up trying to find 'near duplicates' though.
