In a unanimous vote the Student Council of Wayne State University supports the DREAM Act.

I would like to congratulate Joyce Schon, Monica Smith and Shardae Baskin of the Student Council for defending this resolution and pushing for a vote! We did it! 

In other news we will be holding a press conference on Wayne State's campus thursday the 9th at 10:00 am. in front of the Undergraduate library in the heart of Campus.

I would like for all of you to help us promote this.  if you know anyone who supports this please tell them to come out so that we can have a strong showing of people from everywhere who support this Act.  please make the choice I know it is far for some of you but with the right turn out we can make this DREAM a reality!!!

I really hope our friends at UofM will come out to detroit and support our joint effort!  I also wish them good luck and wise words as they make a similar proposal on tuesday evening.
