**MAY DAY MARCH QUEER CONTINGENCY**

        Spread the word to your community

 

Join akabaka, Amigas Latinas, the Association of Latino Men for Action (ALMA), the Chicago Dyke March Collective, Gay Liberation Network, Gender JUST, Orgullo en Accion, Queer Transformative Justice Working Group, Transformative Law Project of Illinois (TJLP-IL) and many more THIS Friday, May 1st for International Worker's Day.

 

IMPORTANT INFO: We will meet at 10 a.m. on the southwest corner of Union Park, (Ashland Avenue & Lake Street -- accessible via the Green Line "Ashland" stop), look for the rainbow flags. Bring banners, placards, signs, beats, cheers. Let's show solidary, preach the importance of multi-issue organizing, and the fact that immigration issues are queer issues are work's issues are POC issues are womyn's issues are people with disabilities issues are... are... are...

This May 1st 2009 march for the right of all to work, organize, study, and live without fear; for an end to raids and deportations; and for the legalization of the more than 12,000 undocumented immigrants living and working in the United States.

On May 1st, International Worker's Day, and the end of President Barack Obama's first 100 days, march for immigrant rights!

Este 1ro de mayo, 2009 marcha por el derecho de trabajar, organizarse, estudiar, y vivir sin miedo; por un fin a las redadas y deportaciones; y por la legalización de los mas de 12 millones de inmigrantes indocumentados trabajando y viviendo en Estados Unidos.

Este primero de mayo, dia internacional de los trabajadores, y el fin de los primeros 100 dias de Presidente Barack Obama, marcha por los derechos de los inmigrantes!
