National Meeting : some important points!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We invite all chapters of Bharat Uday Mission to send their representative for meeting at JAIPUR
(on June 24-25, 2006. )

There are few questions/doubts which we like to clarify to all our members.

1. How Place was decided :

A) http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bharatudaymission/message/2020
B) Only two chapters showed interest : Jaipur and Jabalpur.
C) Jaipur's proposal was accepted by BM management because
      I. It is well connected.
      II. Its a rising chapter.
      III. There are a number of chapters near Jaipur ( or Rajasthan) which can be activated due to meet.
      IIII. Chapter member showed promptness and enthu to host national meet.

Jabalpur chapter showed full respect to BM management's decision.

2. Many Ideas :

A) There are a number of ideas in the air to decide about time and place of meeting but they didn't reach to us in time.
B) We have to choose best among the available options. We will not force/request chapter any chapter to send their proposal as we may be biased in that case.
C) We plan to organize such events state wise so that every state should at least get a chance.
D) We plan to be national organization and India is too big, So problem of distance will always be there.

3.  About Date :

Many members suggested that we should have a meeting as soon as possible. We explored three dates 17-18, 24-25 June and 1-2 July. 17-18 June was too early and 1-2 July  was slightly late as we want to go for Constitution drafting as soon as possible. We wish to give all our members around one month so we informed to all of us http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bharatudaymission/message/2028   (May 28, 2006.)

As most of us are professionals and students, we can't get any date which will suit to everybody. Few members may have to face few problems in attending the meeting and few may have to even miss it. It is unavoidable. We are very sorry about it but we can't help it.

4.  Agenda of Meeting, Financial Management and Registration Fee :
 
We will send a detailed drafted containing all the information latest by June 12,2006.

5. concept Of quorum :

BM managements discussed it and found that it is not required for meeting due to following reasons:

1. Its an open invitation to all the chapters.
2. It is notified to every chapter and every chapter got one month to prepare for it.
3. We will be there for a new beginning and all such concepts will be developed in the constitution.

We request all chapters and all BM members to try to attend it and make it a success.
