Dear friends,

Based on the positive feedback received from all of you, I feel very motivated to give a start to our Bharat Uday magazine. Rupesh Garg and Vikas Shaurya have already volunteered to join the effort. More volunteers will join in too.

Here are my proposals for the magazine:

1. The magazine will initially start in Hindi language. Versions in other Indian languages will be started as and when we get volunteers. The content in all these versions shall be 80% common. 20% content will be specific for the region.

2. The name of magazine will be Bhaaratodaya (भारतोदय), and shall carry 24 pages.

3. The magazine will start with May-June-July 2006 issue, and will be quarterly.

4. Approximately 16 pages in the magazine will be used by the news items related to our social activities. Remaining 8 pages will carry BM's views on current affairs and other policy-related matters.

5. There will be a correspondent in each BM chapter who will send contribution to the magazine. If a chapter does not have a correspondent, we may pick up relevant coverage from their yahoo group.

6. The magazine will be submitted for central team's review 15 days before release. The central team shall provide their feedback within 7 days. After taking care of central team's comments, the magazine shall be released to the members.

I would request the central team to approve these proposals so that we may we may start our work soon.

Please pour in your suggestions and inputs too.

Rajneesh ji,

As of now, we are proposing an e-magazine. There won't be a printed
edition.

For e-magazine, the only cost will be of human labour. I am sure we
will have many volunteers to share this cost.

Shubham,
Mukesh Bansal
