Admin Team : Completion Of Tenure

First of All, I wish a very happy independence day to all of us. I am going to complete my tenure as coordinator of Admin team by Aug 15, 2006. Its right time for me to look back and put forward summary of organizational development, our success as an organization and Road Map for future.

I promise a true and unbiased analysis of all the important events which happened during my tenure.

Formation of Admin Team, BM management and other Teams

Teams were formed in Jan and they started their work from Jan 26, 2006. Admin Team had three members Rishikesh, Divya and Gyan.

My Induction in Admin Team

I was requested by bm management members to be part of admin team as its performance was not upto  the expectations. All BM management and Admin Team members unanimously supported my inclusion in the team. Job was challenging and things were changing very fast. As I was in BM from its very first meeting and I had experience in managing things earlier, I was found suitable for the job.

All my colleagues helped me to learn things properly.

BM is not a platform for those whose loyalties are doubtful

I strongly believe that all those who do not belong to any other political party may be member of BM even if they are neutral to Political ambitions of BM. Anybody who belong to any other political party should not be member of BM even if we are an informal organization at present. Few members objected this approach but Admin Team Implemented it to protect larger interests of BM.

Contributions:

1. Admin Team : Transformation in a Role based responsible Team

My esteemed colleagues were strong believer in learning everything and that's why they choose to make Admin Team a rotation based team. I found it very good for online management but organization can't be given proper direction by such Team. Admin Team was not much efficient due to this reason .

I made a document and defined a role for every Admin Team member. It helped to make admin team efficient and effective. Also it clearly defined responsibilities of Admin Team.

2. Chapter Coordination draft

It was created by me and reviewed and modified by my colleagues.

3. Constitution formation draft

I initiated the constitution drafting process  with my colleagues and cleared path for participation of all chapters. It was reviewed and modified by general body in national meet.

4. Constituent Assembly and Drafting Committee formation

It was hard to get participation from chapters and it was believed that in any national team not more than 10 chapters can participate. It was a challenge and I took personal initiative to get as much participation as possible. Finally we got participation of 22 chapters which is highest for any national team. It's the most legitimate body at present. Later we created drafting committee by a fair and well accepted democratic process.

5. National Meet

National Meet was the biggest challenge as we have to get participation from all over country and most of us are working professionals. Admin Team tried its best and finally we got participation from 19 chapters. The conduction of National meet was carried out in an appreciable manner. Mukesh Ji, Swadheen Ji and Varpal singh and all other members of jaipur worked hard to make the meet successful.

5. Task Force

Task Force was formed to create a vision document for all the chapters and design a road map for BM."10" chapters are participating in it and we hope to get a nice vision document soon.

7. Formation of Information Management Team

This team was created to help in its day to day work. It has two members at present and performance of the team is above the expectations.

Performance of Teams

1. Website Team

In June Paresh was made coordinator of website team. He made good job and results will be visible soon. In last three months, website performed well.

2. Propagation Team

Muru as a coordinator of team performed upto the mark but team failed to produce expected results.

3. Policy Research Team

There are some wonderful people in policy research team but productivity of the team is not upto the mark.

4. Ground work and finance team

These were dissolved so early that it will be hard to comment on their performance.

Bharat Uday Mission : over all growth

We had 12 chapters in January and we have 55 chapters at present. Number of total members in BM was 600 in January while we have 6000 members now. We have 8 active chapters at present and 300 active members across the country. Constitution drafting process is already started and one national meet is organized. Vision document will be available soon. Teams are performing better and chapters are much more mature now.

Bharat Uday Mission and Discipline

Every voluntary organization is run by three basic principles:

1. Supremacy of Ideology

2. Strong organizational structure

3. Discipline

In BM majority believes in point 1 and hence they automatically believe in point 2 and 3. All those who are habitual to choose convenience over conviction, start their propaganda to weaken point 1. It leads to violation of point 2 and finally it creates indiscipline. All such weak members choose to hide their weakness by making following statement:

"We care about cause and not about organization."

Separation of cause from organization is the first step towards selfish motives. I read and heard such or similar statements by corrupt politicians of India. We took all our members directly from society and hence all problems which are in society are some way or other visible in our organization.

I suggest that all those who don't fall in line must choose their own path. Its my personal request: don't try to change BM and its ideology as per your own convenience.

Manipulation and indiscipline will be curbed with firm hands. Admin Team will not bow down such evils and discipline will be enforced by taking care of larger interests of BM. BM has a bright future and admin team must protect it.

New Teams

We have Mukesh Ji, Baburaj Ji in admin team. BM management will have Ravi Ji, Amit Pandey and Mukesh Ji. All are dedicated members of BM and They have many new plans to make BM a strong organization.

Personal Future Plans

I will take break from BM work and will concentrate on career for few months. Later I will come back to work with full dedication.
