There is a message from Gopal krishna ji:-

Dear friends,

here are the innermost feelings of my heart. I pray, u feel in these
words, why BM was started and why many of us will willingly sacrifice
all our personal goals for the mission, prepared for all hardships,
ready to face even death with a smile on our faces for the sake of
humanity.

I will request u to try to feel, what u must feel as a noble human
being and a true patriot :
(most of these census data have been taken from India Economy by Dutta
and Sundaram : a very reliable book).

in India,

1. 47% of children under 5 r underwieght due to malnutrition : just
see in ur small child or the child of ur brother or sister, one of
those children and u will feel "why BM" !!!
2. around 2.5 crores Indians r homeless, sleeping on streets: can we
like to be one of those ?
3. just see this photo :
http://www.csmonitor.com/2004/0804/p11s01-wosc.html A disabled boy
begs on a suburban train. : just imagine that boy is ur own son or
brother : will u neglect him to a life of begging, humiliation and
starvation : if not, then why not extend the same sensitivity for
millions of such children in our country: do we mean to keep our
sensitivity, love and sense of duty to just our so-called blood
family. have we forgotten that "insaniyat se bada koi rishta nahi hota
hai".
4. India has the greatest number of leprosy cases (estimated to be
around 250000 ) - leprocy is a curable disease. When u see those
disabled limbs, what do u feel : a curable disease and our people lose
their limbs to live a life of begging and agonies : what the
generation of our fathers and grandfathers have been doing with this
society in last 59 years of Independence ???
5. and our child labour population is : the Government of India
reports about 20 million children laborers, other non-governmental
organizations estimate the number to be closer to 50 million. I ask
just one question, will u accept ur child as a child labour ?
6. 70% of Indians have no access to proper sanitation.
7. 49% of Indians have no access to life-saving drugs : 50 crores
without effective medical care. Just die in tears of agony and see ur
children dying, whenever a petty curable disease, attacks them!!!
8. and a huge heartache : 300 millions people living below poverty
line defined at Rs. 300 per month : simply starve to a slow death and
die if any disease occur. Even animals don't starve unless there is a
natural calamity, like famines and 300 millions of our brethren r
starving without any natural calamities: we have made them worse than
even animals and yet we talk of our being a patriot and "India shining
or a superpower India" !!!

Is poverty a crime and if it is, the criminals r not the people born
into poor families, but we, the educated people, who have simply
become incapable of thinking beyond our masses of bones and flesh.

I find no reason to blame poorer sections of the society for any
problem : they lack education and awareness : it was the duty of we,
the educated people, to uplift them because we have both education and
awareness. But we could not do so in last 59 years of indepedence.
WHY? WHY? WHY?

i find only one reason: excessive obsession with personal goals and
our little blood family, at the cost of shameless slaughter of our
social consciousness.

But what is the way ahead : just reverse the tide of selfishenss and
cowardice to lead a life of complete selflessness and matchless
courage.

I challenge everyone to tell us a non-political means, through which
we can wipe out the poverty, illiteracy, diseases of our masses. Even
the president of Bill and Melinda Foundation (the largest NGO in the
world with 20+ billion $ money), Senior Gates, said in interview to
Hindu : "we can give only prototypes, which government must emulate at
large scale. Without role of government, our efforts are nothing,
because we don't have that much human and financial resourses" .

through NGO or trust, we can't attain our goals of a poverty-free
India at all, hence we chose a less-travelled path of a political
party, which will combine electoral politics and social work, and
thus, do maximum social service to our motherland, attaining all
social goals, for which so many freedom-fighters sacrificed their
lives..

I appeal to all of you:

1. If you feel fully (either u feel or u don't feel : if u don't feel,
noone can make u feel : few things r for heart and not for head) that
the salvation of the land lies in maximum social service through
supreme personalification of service and renunciation in personal
lives, I ask u for complete renunciation fo personal goals : finish
all ur utmost crucuial family responsibilities soon and come to join
BM fulltime. if u r bachelor, remain a bachelor celibate whole life,
because in this mission, we will face much hardships and may even have
to face death : does these words of hardships and death, dampened or
enthused u ? if they dampened u, then, these words are not for u. IF
they enthused u, be our life-partner and as a pledge to this resolve
to dedicate whole life to the Mission, join our yahoo-group
BM_fulltime by sending a blank mail to
BM_fulltim...@yahoogroups.com or through yahoo-id here,
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bm_fulltime and please give ur details
here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bharatudaymission/database?method=addRecord&tbl=14

Why I am asking those of u, who r willing to join BM fulltime in
future after fulfilling all crucial family responsibilites, and r
bachelor , to take vow of lifelong bachlor celibacy is because of the
following:

at a tender age of 7-8 In class 2-3, i was inspired by martyrdom by
thousands during freedom struggle, about which I learnt while
preparing for a freedom struggle speech for 15th August school
celebration. The ideal for sacrificing everything and even embrace
death with smile on the path of national service, has been absolutely
firm in the mind since then and will always remain so : we will use
all our intelligence to save our cadres and leaders from political
violence, but there is no foolproof way : in my district in Bihar,
whoever honest person, stood for election of Sarpanch, was killed in
last 10 years : suppose, in future, I fell to bullets in this war ( a
possibility, which we can minimise but never eliminate, at least not
in some of the states like UP, Bihar, despite the best use of head) :
in this scenario, which is better : to leave 1-2 fatherless children
and one widow or to leave no fatherless children and widow due to the
great patriotic merit of bachelor celibacy.

IF these words dampen u, then u r not one which will become leaders of
this Mission. I promise, we will avoid all criminal areas in initial
phase; if needed, will provide armed protection to our leaders as per
funds-availability, use informal networking with honest beureucrats
and media for our protection and last, but not the least, our celibate
fulltime memebrs will be the ones to be sent for leading in
politically violent areas and not our married fulltime members.

Also, celibacy is not difficult: when I entered IITK 4 years ago, I
was in great trauma : how i will follow celibacy whole life (the vow
was taken in class 5-6 itself, when I reflected how much marriage can
damage the "ready to live, ready to die for one's ideals" type of
people by seeing the marriage of my sister - a child generally
understand anything by observing them first time), it is so difficult,
something like mental torture to control this animal instinct (called
as natural instinct by misguided elements) , but since my resolve was
firm, God guided me to Yoga Sadhana and now, celibacy seems to be very
natural, quite easy. Doing bahya Pranayam is infallible way to destroy
lustful thoughts at once (please read
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BM_fulltime/message/495 on this great
technique ) and doing asanas like Siddhasan
(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BM_fulltime/message/495)
and Mula Badha (http://www.yoga-age.com/modern/mudras.html ) will wipe
this animal instinct from roots: and i m sure, everyone can maintain
whole life celibacy easily and joyously using these technique daily
for min. 20 minutes and become the fittest case for "ready to live,
ready to die for one's ideals" type of people.

And no need to worry about futile logic : "It is our duty to maintain
progeny" - Buddha, Vivekananda, Newton, Shankaracharya, Ramakrishna
Paramahansa, and so many great men, did not maintain progeny : what
does it matter, if our progeny or for that matter our father's progeny
is not maintained.

We, the fulltime members, will give our all for this great Mission :
we will optimise the chance for a poverty-free, corruption-free,
iliteracy-free and backwardness-free India and finally, the whole
world (includign African and other poor nations), by our hearts' blood
. Insaah Allah, we will wipe every tear from every eye. Even from our
ashes, the fragrance of true love for the humanity will come.

And lastly, I will appeal to all those, who can't join us fulltime,
but want to otherwise, optimise their contribution tio the Mission to
do the following:
1. Live a simple life : if u can manage by a car of 3 lakh, never buy
car of 10 or 20 lakh. If u can manage by a home of 10 lakh, never have
a home of 50 lakh or 1 crore. Save each rupee and use them for
upliftment of the poorest people. Contribute financially and
intellectually to BM as much as u can : we, fulltime memebrs, r
willing to embrace even death, so u should at least, help financially
as much as u can : we r ur own brother , ur own son : won't u prepare
us, all fulltime members, to win this war for humanity through ur
sincerest help, even though we r ready for even defeat and martyrdom
for the sake of humanity.
2. Bring this Mission to the notice of every person, who is honest and
patriotic.
3. Always help everyone in need : empty talks don't make us a patriot
or good human being, it is our noble feelings and deeds for our fellow
beings, that make us so.

I pray, u all feel the real spirit of our Mission fully.

Vande Matram,
In service of the humanity,

Gopal
