Invitation for new Logo and Flag design for Bharat Uday Mission

Dear Patriots,

You would be aware of the Constitution Drafting Process that's happening in our budding organisation.

A Logo and Flag have to be decided as part of this process.

 

There was a Logo competition earlier but none were good enough.

Submissions are invited for both Logo and Flag for Bharat Uday Mission. Each Chapter is expected to contribute its best in this process.

All Entries should be Emailed to Chenn...@gmail.com in Jpeg/BMP format with at least 640x480 resolution.

Last Date for the submissions is extended till 22nd August 2006.

We've deadlines to meet please try to get in your entries before the last date.

 

 

Some Guidelines/Suggestions for the Logo.

1. The logo should be simple yet convey the idea.

2. It should be easily reproducible

3. It should look good on visiting card/Letter head as well as on a large banner.

4. A good logo should be equally good when printed in gray scale. (Not all chapters can afford to print multi-colour pamphlets to suit our logos)

5. We're a national organisation... We've 16 different major languages and hundreds of dialects... Please keep that in mind while designing the same.

1. The Flag should be simple yet convey the idea.

2. It should be easily reproducible

3. Please send entries along with a short write up

 

Since Everyone may not be familiar with the flag concept I'm including the official description of the flags of 3 major national parties.

BJP: The Flag of the Party shall comprise of two vertical colours- saffron and green, in the ratio of 2:1 with the election symbol of the Party in blue colour in the middle of the saffron portion equal to half of its size. The green portion will be near the mast.

 

CPI: The flag of the party shall be a red flag of which the length shall be one-and -a-half times its width At the centre of the flag there shall be a crossed hammer and sickle in white

 

Congress: The flag of the Indian National Congress shall consist of three horizontal colours: saffron, white and green with the picture of a Charkha in Blue in the Centre. It shall be made of certified Khadi.

 

If You've a good idea/concept for either the Logo/Flag but are unable to design it Please get the help of a professional or Email the concept we'll try to design it if the idea is good.
