Dear BM friends,

I am not sure whether BM may be willing to take up such campaigns. Can the senior members / moderators suggest how to proceed about it?

Dear Mukesh ji

1. We can start as attachments

2. We can try http://yousendit.com if any of these books are large

3. My suggestions and BM comments
------------------------------------------------

As far as I can see, my original suggestion was NOT found in the BM
Google Group (may have been moderated / or because of technical reasons
bounced )

Could you please forward your reply below with my original mail to the
BM google group ?

regards
Vinayak

Dear Members,
As of now the central team members are not in a single place. So its difficult per se for central team to take up. What we can do is, if some chapter/member take initiative, we will help in sharing across other chapters and members. All social activites need physical participation. So all such intiative have to come from chapters/members. We in central team can help in getting information across. As of now mechanism of financial contribution to central team has not been developed. So even funding is also not possible from central team.

BM needs initiatives from everyone. There is no one to stop you doing anything in interest of nation/BM. You can take initiative as you like and set examples. Please make a call to local members on main group for any initiative with possible action plan. We will be more than happy to promote the same.

If you feel any more clarification/help is needed, please talk to Ground Work Team bm_gro...@yahoo.com.

Regards,
Moderators

Hi

I appreciate the sincerity of the moderators and their forthright
comment to this thread.

It is tough organising such *brick and mortar* issues if we are spread
all over the globe - *as we are*

However as I mentioned earlier good e books can be shared using one or
more methods

1. Some can be added to G mail as attachments and posted here

2. some can be sent to a special purposes google group created for this
purpose

3. We can try http://yousendit.com

4. Later we can think of hosting etc..

regards
Vinayak

Dear friends,

I see the point that you are making here. I will try to start this
activity at Delhi.

I will also try to start it on internet with Vinayakji's help.

Another point: If someone wants to take the Public Library's web portal
development task, I would be willing to guide and fund it. Any takers?
