Dear Allston/Brighton Residents:
Upon contacting John Meaney-ISD, regarding Allston/Brighton Rodent Infestation problems,
Mr. Meaney immediately agreed to attend a Community Meeting to discuss residents issues
and concerns.

I suggested that residents submit problematic addresses/locations, so that a
mass rodent extermination plan can be formulated. It is very important for residents
who are experiencing rodent problems to attend this meeting, and provide the exact
location of the sightings. Rodents reproduce rapidly, and in multiple numbers.
It's important to exterminate a large section at a time in order to eliminate the
problem completely.

Please attend the Rodent Infestation Community Meeting at the Jackson Mann Community Center Theater on May 13th, at 7:00p.m.  There will be Address Sheets where you can list
all problem areas, and rat sighting locations.

Thank you,

Methods to apply:

Diffuse: To scent a room, use 6-8 drops of essential oil or blend of essential oils mixed with about an ounce of water in a tealight diffuser    http://www.khealing.com/xcart/home.php?cat=256

Drop on Clothing: Drop insect repelling essential oils on different spots of you clothing and let dry before putting on.

In the Laundry: To get rid of dust mites and kill many kinds of germs add about a tablespoon of Eucalyptus or Teatree oil in your laundry.

Drop around home: If you have cockroaches in your kitchen drop oils directly in your sink before going to bed at night. If you are soaking a pot add essential oils in the water so the roaches won’t be attracted to the left on food in the pot. If you have bugs in your bathroom drop oils around the tub sink and toilet. If you have rodents drop oils in the spots you find their droppings.

Perfume or Cologne: You can wear a perfume in your hair, on your feet, anywhere you find bugs like to nibble. Some insect repelling scents such as clove, lavender, peppermint, spearmint and patchouli can be very attractive to the human nose and suitable for perfumery. Mix 50% oils to 50% vodka or grain alcohol in a small bottle. These bottles http://www.khealing.com/xcart/product.php?productid=16147&cat=255&page=1  hold approximately 300 drops (150 essential oils / 150 alcohols)

Dog Shampoo: Sometimes your pooch is the victim of fleas, lice, ticks, or other itchy invaders. To make a dog shampoo use about 7 ounces of unscented castile soap with about 20 drops of essential oils. Mix in a foaming bottle for easy application. http://www.khealing.com/xcart/product.php?productid=16171&cat=255&page=1

Around Plants and in the Garden: If you have mites or other insects crawling on your plants you need to first wash your plants. Use sprayer bottle add about a teaspoon of unscented castile soap to about 6 ounces of water. You may add a drop or two of essential oils, but too much is not good for the plant. Shake and mist over the entire plant. To repel insects from coming back to the plant drop essential oils on garden ornaments and on other spots near plants (but not on plants). If you notice insects return, mist them again.
