Preview Thumbnail view ; JPG's

ok, here's a response I posted earlier:

to identify if thumbnail view is enabled to show graphics in
small thumbnails, which is enabled by right clicking in the folder and choosing
properties then make sure thumbnail view is enabled, you may need to close/leave
the folder and go back to it and then right click>view>thumbnails
additionally, a file called thumbs.db is created which contains the thumbnail
pictures.

Had exactly the same problem regarding .gifs and jpegs.Here is a regfile
previously supplied to me by Spider...Took care of everything. Standard
Disclaimer (You should have SOME registry knowledge before attempting)

The following text between the lines, if put into a file with a .REG
extension and then double-clicked will restore thumbnail views.
