Data usage by Text My Location?

Hello,

Does Text My Location require Internet or cell network data to
function? I am planning to travel abroad, and would like to simply
text my GPS coordinates to friends / family without having to send /
receive data, which can get quite expensive.

Thanks for using the app.

Yes, current we will translate the GPS latitude and longtitude to address so we need to invoke the internet service to do this translation.

However, the internet traffic shall not be that much.
