I've just heard from Steve in email: his illness did turn
out to be CV19 but at day 12 he thinks he's over the worst;
at least his temperature is back down to near normal. He
says he feels far too grotty yet for newsgrouping and thinks
he has another 10 days or so to do in his sickbed.
