This is an old thread. I hope you are still checking this thing. My grandfather's great-grandfather Nachman [Kalischer] Buki moved from Kalisch to Zychlin. His son Modechai Natan Buki [married Ester] also lived in Zychlin. Modechai Natan's son Shmuel Avraham [married Tzivia Berman] moved to Lipno. My grandfather Yeshaya Buki lived in Lipno, after the war he moved to Israel. Does any of this information or family name pattern ring a bell? Thanks Yaron Z. It depends on whether Shmuel had brothers and who his father was. I am trying to follow every lead. I have some things physical that are a pattern in my family. My Great Grandfather died in Zychlin from a strangulated hernia. He got it showing off to children by picking up a boulder. My Grandfather had a hernia or two. My father had two. My brother has had four and I have had three. My brother and I have a tooth in the front of our lower jaw that is slightly set back from the others. My father and Grandfather had the same thing. My dentist always want to straighten it. No way! It is my link with history. I have been very tempted to have a DNA Genealogy search done. Do you know a David Zyngier in Melbourne?
