Aztec 2D encoder decoder implementation state

Hi There

I wish to use ZXing for reading and creating Aztec 2D codes.
I noticed that the implementation of Aztec 2D code is in beta state.

I wish to know the details of beta state.
Specially:
What is missing, (if anything)?
How stable is it?

Hm, I seem to remember that the EC routines weren't fully implemented, as with PDF417. I don't know how much testing it has had relative to others. But it works pretty well, anecdotally.
