can zxing copy to gallery or generate barcode from barcode?

zxing works great in my Zio. (Android app called "barcode scanner v. 3.72)

but seems to have no way to copy a barcode once I snap a pic.

I want to 'generate' an image of my library card barcode from the card itself.

must i really install another app to do this?

I don't see 'copy to galley' in share button

I am not sure what you are asking here -- when you take a photo you are not in the scanner app. I am not sure what you mean by copy to gallery then. The app does not store images.

You could instead scan the barcode, at which time its contents would be on the clipboard. Go to Share and choose to encode the content of the clipboard and it will encode as a QR code. That's the only format available, but, you can easily make a QR code this way.
