Dear,

In our daily business we have to handle a lot of paper forms that are completed by employees. We have to scan each completed form to PDF, and attach this PDF to our application (developed in-house in Java).

We would like to use 1d or 2d barcodes to facilitate this process. Therefore, we are looking for a software that meets the following requirements:

- run as a service on our linux servers
- step 1# look for new PDF scans in a dedicated directory
- step 2# read each PDF and split this PDF in multiple PDF's every time a barcode is recognized
- step 3# read each splitted PDF (see step 2) and rename this PDF based on the barcode value

In an ideal world we would like to be able to
- step 4# copy the renamed PDF's (see step 3) to an Amazon S3 bucket
- step 5# insert a record into a MySQL database based upon the values read in step 2

As a second ideal option we would like to be able to
- step 3# read each splitted PDF (see step 2) and read the barcode value with an in-house developed Java application
- step 4# copy the PDF to an Amazon S3 bucket using our application
- step 5# insert a record into a MySQL database using our application

Do not hesitate to contact us if you need further information.

Regards

Jenthe
