I scanned two UK store cards using your Barcode scanner and the Key
Ring app
Both barcodes were incorrectly read.
I understand that these two barcodes are in EAN 128 format
The Tesco Clubcard barcode is 634004024031736954 but was read as
9794024031736954 format code_128
The Nectar barcode is 9826300055049814049 but was read as
29955049814049 code_128
I can send photos of the barcodes if required

EAN 128 is the same format as Code 128, as far as I understand, but
has some particular encoding differences.

Are you sure the barcodes "really" encode what you think they do?
where are you getting that? it's possible the barcode does not
necessarily encode what's written on the card exactly.

Or it is possible than EAN 128 has different interpretations and that
the barcode says one thing in Code 128 but something else when
construed as EAN 128. I don't know whether that's true, just guessing.

EIther way I don't think anyone plans to work on EAN 128 but if you
can identify the concrete differences and/or submit a patch that's
helpful.
