Hi,

I have a samsung GTS5690 xcover phone and the barcode scanner in it was
working fine prior to an update to the software. Currently I cannot scan
any barcode at all. I have tried different phone with the same software and
its working fine. Seems like this is the only phone that is effected.

Can you please let me know if this issue can be solved as I use it for one
of my apps currently.

MY phone specs are
Model number: gt-s5690
Android version: 2.3.6

It's almost always a device problem. Without specifics like log dumps I
don't think there's any actionable info here, but if you can see a specific
error from the device that may lead to a workaround.
