Cities send their waste to transfer stations, landfills, and incinerators that cause harm to surrounding communities & the climate. The City of Long Beach is no different, and is a host to 1 of 2 trash-burning incinerators in the state of California. 

This summer community members came together to discuss their vision for a Zero Waste Long Beach in order to move away from the current harmful waste systems. Join us to hear about the vision and learn from other communities about what they're doing to become zero waste!
