Just got my Aeon Zstick and On/Off Janco Switch today for xmas and I have everything setup but I must have done something wrong.  I am get about a 10-30 minute delay.  Im running windows 8.1 and the devices are about 25 feet apart.

I do see the off request in the OZW_Log.txt log at 21:16:27,247 but do in the zVirtualScenese's log.  So is the problem internal?

Worked a little better today.  Turned on without delay but over a minute to turn off.  Could the 25 feet be a problem.

I believe the problem is Windows UAC, I have it disable but I do not think it is really disable under Program Files, so I have reinstall under c:\. and it seems to be working instantly for the past 10 hours.

I have noticed that, depending on distance and interference, it can take quite a while for a command to execute. I would try physically moving the Zstick closer to the switch temporarily and see if that affects that performance at all. You might end up having to do like I did, get a USB extension cable and move the transceiver up and away from potential interference.

Hope that helps.

I put z-stick on a 6ft USB cable last night and it works better but still not 100% delay free.  I'm thinking a Z-wave plug in the server closest would broadcast stronger than a 5v USB stick.  Plus I have more wall switches coming, and hopefully this will build a stronger network.

Adding a second light switch fixed the problem. No delay or issues. I don't like having run the application as administrator.
