slow android app response

Start off, I just got a aeon z-wave USB series 2 and a leviton appliance outlet.  Both work no issues from my PC.  I just installed the android app on my phone and tablet.  The control works the first time I use it, however if I go back to my device list it won't open the outlet switch.  I have tried both lan and wan connections.  The problem occurs both ways.  Any advice I could try or information you'd like me to provide?

What versions are ZVS and zvsMobile are you running?
