Dear Azza, Noura and Wafa,
Hope my email finds you well.
Please be advised if you were able to prepare for both assignments that doesn’t mean that everybody does as well; you really can’t generalize. Also, please recall that you were arguing as well with the professor to wave out the last assignment.
As you mentioned we are too busy and I don’t think you would want to juggle another extra ball! Everybody has enough in her/his plate and their silence is not that due to their nurdness preparing for the assignments, but its due to this bombarded season that almost quarter of the class headed already to Al Hajj and the remaining want to enjoy their Eid time with their families.
I really don’t know why are you afraid of adding the extra marks to the exam or splitting them between the exam and assignment 3! I think we are all in a good shape and you remember that Dr. Shereef gave us the chance to discuss the questions among ourselves; and presumably this what will happen also this time.
I recommend you to give it another thought, its quiet simple and it’s a good resolution for everyone because as I understood from Shaima a lot of people agreed on her proposal!

Dear Shaima ,
With our respect to your opinion, Noura & I, totally disagree with that idea, yes its load but I believe most of the students have already started preparing for the assignments.
The percentage of the final exam in the syllabus is 30 % of the total class grade, which is the highest already.
Its a fact that not all students check their emails because a lot of them are busy or traveling, so do not consider their silence as agreement to your suggestion with full respect.
