Hi Everyone,

I asked you to download Megastat which is a statistical analysis package add in to Excel.  For the last 15 years, it has been free from McGraw Hill but now they appear to be charging for it.  Muzoun was able to use the following link to get it:

http://sur.ly/o/highered.mheducation.com/sites%2F0070000237%2Fstudent_view0%2Fmegastat_tutorials.html/AA001290

Also, you can use SPSS; there is a student version.

I do have an electronic version of the surveys if you want it.  We just seem to have better response rates if it is on paper.  If you have prepared your own electronic version, I need to see the survey in order to set up the data analysis so we can merge the files.

Your grade will come from the PowerPoints which includes finding good articles on nationalization.  You can analyze 10 surveys per student and if you have additional surveys for extra credit, I have a student intern who can enter the data.  So you will get the extra credit for getting the surveys--you don't have to enter the data unless you have time.  If you are running into difficulty getting the surveys, just encourage the respondents--tell them it will help you and is valuable research for the UAE--and note it in your presentation under data collection.  Also, encourage them to fill it out completely.  Some questions, such as income level, are sensitive.  What I tell managers is that I'm not really interested in income levels alone, I'm interested in whether there is a relationship between income level and knowledge sharing.

See you soon.

Dr. Laura
