Installinga screen protector yourself is one of the worst things ever, possibly worse than stubbing a toe. It's so bad that I went to an Apple Store and paid them $42.75 to do it for me. I regret nothing.
Anyone who has ever tried to install a screen protector knows exactly what I'm talking about---you can never truly get it aligned correctly, and specs of dust always seem to make their way underneath the screen protector right as you go to lay it down.
I eventually threw in the towel and went to an Apple Store, where I knew they had special little doohickies that can install a screen protector perfectly every time on your fancy new iPhone. The results are always fantastic.
It's as easy as setting the iPhone and the screen protector into the slots (which line everything up for you), closing the shell, and then yanking off the protective films. A trained seal could probably do it.
The ScreenCare+ system is proprietary to Apple Stores, although T-Mobile stores have something similar from Belkin as well. Unfortunately, the public can't buy these devices for themselves, so us peasants are stuck doing it the old-fashioned way.
When you go into an Apple Store and look at their screen protectors for sale, it's easy to balk at the $39.95 price tag of Belkin's InvisiGlass Ultra tempered glass screen protector. After all, no one in their right mind would spend $39.95 for a screen protector with the intent of installing it themselves. Instead, most of us would head to Amazon and buy something like this $14 three-pack of tempered glass screen protectors from a no-name brand, which comes out to just $4.67 per screen protector.
But here's the kicker: Apple will install screen protectors "for free" as long as you buy one from the Apple Store. So really, you should think about it more along the lines of the installation service being included in the price. That isn't too bad of a deal after it's all said and done.
So really, when you pay a little over $40 (with tax) for a screen protector at an Apple Store, you're really mostly paying for the convenience of Apple installing it for you It at least makes me feel a bit better thinking of it that way. I would never spend that much on a screen protector if I had to install it myself.
I recently purchased an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and a screen protector. At pick-up, Apple declined to install the screen protector. I had previously shopped around, and finally settled on the Belkin Ultraglass, so I could have it installed when I picked up my order. The Apple employee told me that they don't install Belkins. Just wondering when Apple stopped offering screen protector installations. So far, the switch from Samsung to Apple, hasn't been the smoothest.
My local store does with a tool to get a perfect install - this was just yesterday and the employee told me of it breaks, Belkin will send me a new one and they will install it for me. Reminder - you need to register the product with Belkin for the warranty coverage.
I went into a Verizon company store to purchase a screen protector for my new Verizon Prepaid Samsung Galaxy J1. The assistant store manager helped me and after looking in the storeroom for about ten minutes came out and said that they did not have a screen protector for my new phone. I asked if he could check other stores and he went off and a few minutes later told me that none of the other stores have it. He told me then to buy it on Amazon. I purchased the SuperShieldz screen protector for the Galaxy J1 (Verizon).
That is what I did but now I have to have someone install this tempered glass screen protector on the phone. I know it is supposed to be easy but I would like to have it installed by someone with experience. IF I go to a Verizon Company Store will they install the screen protector for me. I am willing to pay to have it done.
Congratulations on your new phone, 1775. The screen protector is a great way to protect your investment. The local store can help install the screen protector and this will not cost you anything at all. You can find the closest store to you here

I wanted to share my recent experience with my Nothing Phone 2 and the screen protector. I purchased my Nothing Phone 2 with great excitement on October 26, 2023, and immediately opted for the official Nothing screen protector to keep my device in pristine condition. Little did I know that my journey with the screen protector would be anything but smooth.
Visiting the service center on November 9, 2023, was the next step in my journey to resolve this problem. However, the response I received at the service center was disheartening. I was informed that the issue is a manufacturing problem related to the display of the Nothing Phone 2, and there was nothing they could do about it officially.
I talked to a Service Center Located in INDIA they said a second time they noticed this type of problem, first they found it in Phone (1) previous, and then my Phone (2), I think nothing needs to be replaced my phone.

If you have a vacuum with a soft brush head, use that attachment to carefully remove dust from the device screen and surrounding area. Then, use either the included microfiber cloth and Anti-Scratch cleaning spray, or the Zeiss wipes from your installation kit to clean the device screen and surrounding area. This will reduce the amount of dust and debris available to find their way under the screen protector during installation. You can continue with this cleaning process at any point during the installation.
This sample piece's purpose is to ensure you approve of the material type and behavior before installing the actual screen protector. First, pull back the bottom liner about an inch and then place that exposed adhesive on your screen. Second, use either your finger or the squeegee to help apply pressure and allow the test screen protector to fully adhere onto your screen as you pull off the remainder of the back liner. You can use the squeegee to push out any remaining bubbles. Third, remove the front liner from the top of the test screen protector piece. Pull the orange sticker and use the squeegee if necessary to fully adhere the edges again.
Now you can try out the test screen protector. Get a feeling of what it looks and feels like on your screen. If you do not like it, do NOT unpackage your actual screen protector and contact us here at Photodon by emailing [email protected]. If you are pleased with the test piece, you can remove and discard it.
Now go ahead and take the screen protector out of its bag and hold it up to your screen. Ensure there's a slight gap between all four sides of the screen protector and the edges of your screen. That gap is supposed to be there so it is easier to install. If the screen protector does not fit, do NOT attempt to install it and contact us here at Photodon by emailing [email protected].
Use the protruding clear tab to pull back the bottom liner about one to two inches. Line up that edge of the screen protector with the exposed adhesive to the edge of the device screen. Be sure the slight gap that you confirmed earlier is present so that the screen protector is properly centered on the screen.
