Hi all,
I hope you are having a wonderful summer holiday! I stumbled upon this post which is related to the talk Lars and I did about Clojure and Erlang earlier this summer:
The author definitely knows more about Erlang than I do, so it's a very thorough piece which I found highly enlightening. Not having spent that much time with a language it is hard to see these caveats when coming into it, but every language is like that. To balance things out, here is an excellent talk entitled "What Sucks about Clojure and Why You'll Love It Anyway":

Hi Thomas
I know the guy from the first article (Tony Arcieri), because he is also a ruby programmer. He tries for several years now, to bring some ideas of Erlang into Ruby as Ruby sucks a lot at concurrency and distribution. A reason why I love Erlang ;)
