we have 6 hys pending
2 are on immigration. why are we holding them on queue? killing the discussion?!
we need to treat hys's as comments and push up to keep the discussion rolling.
didn't we already agree this last saturday?!

I wrote to all informing them that we are reviewing the editorial policy of the HYS! Sent you an email yesterday at 3.41pm.
Last Saturday we had a discussion and now we have to decide as an editorial board.

are we going to wait until the 2nd or possibly later ?
we have 7 pending - for me I would say publish them all
my only concern is that of john buttigieg - 3k words - split it up into 6 hys's - he made his post under sub headings so it can easily be scheduled for 1nce a day at noon
we are receiving quality posts .. why put on hold?!
i'm really against all this moderation and waiting times!!! what is so hard to decide? we will accept every post - that is what was agreed by everyone .. i think during the seminar we were DISCUSSING .. and all the editorial team was present except maria who will not be present in another editorial meeting .. so all this wait is truly in vain!
this mark said chap is pushing some nice challenging articles .. including the one which you labelled as a letter to the editor. for me its not. it is an article saying that it is not true that all old priests say lame sermons .. and that all sermons are boring .. but some exists in which you truly feel positive .. that for me warrants a challenging idea status
again i repeat that afaik we AGREED that we will make the HYS more prominent by making the in post image with the HYS corner. correct me if im wrong - but i am 1000% sure that we AGREED and we didn't SUGGEST.

Putting on hold will permit us to clarify the situation and to define exactly what will be accepted and the guidelines we will ask those writing to follow.
We give guidelines to bloggers and contributors, why shouldn't we ask the same from HYS! authors?
Our website cannot accept every contribution that arrives through HYS! We stopped a contribution from an 'regular' contributor let alone from a HYS!. Otherwise we would render the site a skip where everyone posts whatever he likes. This has never been the idea behind the project.

in 2 weeks hopefully the problem of immigration would have been sorted - making the posts irrelevant and old
y can't we confirm the decision we took via email?
after all we all AGREED there.
