I have been trying to integrate the Maven repository. I have used the data from the page and get the following error:

build.gradle:
maven { //'Mustang-ZUGFeRD-Repository' url = 'https://raw.github.com/Rayman2200/PDFA3/mvn-repo/' }

compile
"org.mustangproject.ZUGFeRD:mustang:1.3.1.1"

I've read that there was a relocation of the repository. Can it be because of this? How is it configured correctly?

Hi,

Yes it is because of the move of the repository and I have no idea how the server part can be configured correctly, can anyone help?

I e.g. did not find tools or *any possibilty* to see what contents are available to Maven, e.g. a web browser will always return a error message.
Does anybody know any tools, any documentation of the protocol maven uses or can someone please wireshark it?

I admit that the repo setup is rather broken (again, is anybody willing to help?) and in conjunction with that fact that I don't know how to stage (i.e. not execute in production) a maven release this is really discomforting.

So far I was not even always able to determine if Maven wants a future or the current version. I think I might accidentally have released (but don't know how to confirm) a 1.3.0.1 which is actually newer than 1.3.1.

If you don't get along with it please feel free to use the jar www.mustangproject.org/deploy/mustang-1.3.1.jar in the  meantime.

kind regards
Jochen

Hi Jochen,

I can unfortunately not help. Which repository do you use. You may also want to deploy it in the central Maven repository. If I understand you correctly, should I use the 1.3.0.1? Can you give me since the download link? I just saw that I still have a problem, another library that I've been using has changed to pdfbox 2.0. Is a change planned in this project? I also looked at it myself and started with the conversion. The larger part is the conversion from jempbox to xmpbox. Can you tell me why xmpbox was not used? In the current pom file, the dependency to jempbox is missing. Pdfbox itself does not need to be recorded, since it is needed by preflight

best regards

Dominik

Hi,

The new repo is a maven-over-github repo at https://raw.github.com/jstaerk/mustangproject/mvn-repo/ I guess with this plugin: https://github.com/github/maven-plugins . Note besides: the 400: Invalid request you get when you access it with a browser is one of the issues which makes resolving repo issues such a pain.

And yes, cool idea, please do deploy the 1.3.1 to the central Maven repository and let me know how to do it for the next release.

Thanks
Jochen

Hi Jochen,

we have same problem like Dominik. We are also using another library that depends on pdfbox 2.0. This results in compiler error in mustang 1.3.1 because of API changes in pdfbox 2.0.  Is support of pdfbox 2.0 planned in this project? It seems that fork of Rayman2200 already supports newer version of pdfbox.

Thanks
Matthias
