Hello,

If all goes well, Mustang 2.12 can still be released in July.
It will move from Java 8 to at least Java 11, due to our dependencies
now requiring at least 11 but that move will be very rewardful:

I was honored by a pull request of phax, who is not only E-invoicing
expert and very active open source contributor (PHIVE, Open Source AS/4
servers), actually we were already using some of his libraries
(ph-schematron) and he apparenlty does not only know Java better than me
but also spend quite a while on a huge pull requestsolving a whole
cluster of issues related to XML when embedding the Mustang library ,
streamlines logging, and upgrades to PH-Schematron to 8 and PDFbox to 3.

With these changes out of the way, UBL validation somehow seems to have
started working almost by itself.

Heavenfighter also could "simply" fix what I failed before, the creation
of halfway valid PDF/A from XML using FOP. Maybe there will be a ZUGFeRD
from XML in a subsequent version.

Finally Sarenor also fixed something which had exceeded my abilities,
i.e. validation now no longer requires files but can also be based on
inputstreams.

I may have done some cash discount work and remove the due date
requirement from extended and someone corrected that
XR is now correctly recognized as profile if an according PDF or XML has
been read but this release will be at least 90% community driven:
Thanks a lot.

We're just waiting for the new ZUGFeRD version 2.3 to be released to
also include that.
There are reasons to expect many important fixes, in particular in the
validation.

Thanks guys, I'm very much looking forward to this release!

kind regards

Jochen
