Whether this is true or not? It was certain that during the Tsunami not a single animal, bird, reptile, rodent, etc., lost their lives in Andaman Nicobar Islands; so also the Tribals. All the original inhabitants of Islands,including the Tribals knew the nature's language, On hearing the Nature's cry they ran to safety.
NOT SURE HOW FAR THIS IS TRUE !!!
