can't start crail namenode

Hi, I am trying to run crail in a power8 machine with ibm java 8.

However, I am getting an error about the java heap size even though I am using a small heap size.

I have a plenty of free memory and whatever heap size I change for the java I get the same error.

I am using the default configuration files as described in the documentation.

Is crail changing by default the heap size? Or an incompatibility with ibm java? Any clue?

Hi Marcelo,

This is a leftover from our configuration. Take a look at the last line of bin/crail and remove the "-Xmn16G" or reduce it (it increases the young generation heap size).
We will remove it or try to make it a better configurable property.
