Hi,
all iWarp based RDMA providers need the RDMA Connection Manager being engaged for connection setup. The ib_xxx tools have an extra flag ‘-R’ which must be set to enable RDMA-CM. Further, you do not need to select the device via ‘-d’, since the RDMA CM selects the appropriate outgoing interface via IP routing.
I hope you are using the latest siw and not the code from zrlio, since it is rather dated and not maintained anymore. siw is part of mainline Linux and part of Linux distro’s since years.
