I'm not entirely sure what you mean..

There's a admin password for the site in the site config file: http://zotonic.com/docs/0.9/manuals/site-anatomy.html?highlight=admin_password

I mean an intermediate screen with a password to that the site cannot be accessed by everyone.

Aha, ok, no, there's no module that I'm aware of that does that.

Shouldn't be too hard to implement one, though.. ;)

There is a way to almost get that though.

If you have all resources set with community visibility, visitors would have to logon in order to view the site.

Then adding a "guest" user with your password of choice, you'll have a password protected site ;)
