Hi,

This very well might be a dumb question. The video on the main page of the http://www.zotero.org/ is fantastic. Is there a version of this somewhere that I can embed on our library's website?

I've found Steve Bailey's screencast (http://www.zotero.org/support/screencast_tutorials/intro) through the Boston College Law Library website.

Also, there seems to be a problem with this one: http://www.zotero.org/support/screencast_tutorials/zotero_tour When I click on it, I expect it to play i my browser, but instead I get a download dialog box. Is this the right list to report problems like this?

Thanks,
Tara

Here is an embeddable version of the screencast on the homepage.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLi3ZhUQDhs

I will talk to one of the web guys about the link to the tour cast. I
will probably just take it down, that is a link demos a much older
version of the software.

Thanks so much! I feel like a bad, lazy librarian for not being able to find that.

Cheers,
Tara

Go directly to the page where the video is placed. You can find this
out by right-clicking the video and then select "copy link
location." (I use Firefox browser.) Then, you can download the video
to your computer: http://www.zotero.org/static/videos/zotero_1_5_cast.flv

It's an flv file, but there are many file conversion programs out
there that will convert an flv to an mov file, for instance. Then, you
can embed your movie or other formatted file to your website or other
online space.

Hope this helps.
