Zotero 7 Local API Write access

I want to develop a google chrome plugin to parse a special website to fetch some bibliographic records. The only way to pass them to Zotero I found is Local API (zotero:// is not suitable because it forces me to use the built-in parsers by passing just url of the webpage, which is not what I want to achieve). I stumbled across the following comment:
Write access is not yet supported.

Can someone help me and add this support, please? Or maybe someone knows another way to achieve it without a Local API server?

This is what translators are for:

You can open a PR on the zotero/translators GitHub repo if you want others to be able to use it, or just save it locally.
