bugs report of Zotero Beta 29

After using Zotero Beta 29, I have collected several bugs. The following ones are more serious.

1. The page number in the annotation item link in Beta 29 is one larger than that of Beta <28. That will cause the notes made previously cannot be located precisely in the PDF reader by clicking the link.

2. When clicking the annotation item link in external app, the annotation does not have the style of highlighting while jumping to Zotero.

3. The "zotero-pdf" link does not support Snapshot and Epub files. This is to say, if clicking the link in external app, Zotero won't open the files in built-in reader.

4. In Zotero Beta <29, when pressing ''shift", the text in the highlight annotation can be selected, but I does not work in Zotero Beta 29 and later.

5. 【suggestion】The new "text" annotation tool is great, but it would be much better that a default font-size can be set. Now, the font-size in the text box is too big. It is not user-friendly to adjust the box size every time, which also cause the text font-size looks not uniform in the whole pdf.

6. “Hand Tool” fails in Zotero Beta 29 and later.

7. “Add to Note” wide-button is missing in Zotero 7 Beta 29 and later.

8. If a pdf is splitted by using the split horizontally/vertically menu-item, and then cancel the split view. What happens is that the pdf is still in split view after restarting Zotero. It should be fixed.

Thanks for the bug reports, but anything that's not development-specific should be posted to the Zotero Forums. We can't do regular debugging of user-facing issues here.

Too many posts in Zotero Forums,  most of which come from regular users. 

Some of above issues are also development-specific for me, especially the issue with the note link like zotero://open-pdf/library/items/8VLBT4XN?page=636&annotation=Q9XLMKIF

The page number is different from that in Zotero 6 or Zotero 7 Beta <29, and the highlighting style is missing when jumping to Zotero from external app.

The number of posts in the forums is irrelevant — no one is asking you
to search for anything. I'm telling you that, if you want bugs fixed,
you need to report them in the forums like all other Zotero users.
