Remote Debugging Protocol (RDP) in Zotero 7/8 Beta

Hi,

I'm trying to connect to Zotero via Firefox's Remote Debugging Protocol for plugin debugging purposes.

Questions:

  1. Does Zotero 7/8 Beta include Firefox DevTools/RDP support?
  2. What's the correct way to enable it? I've tried the -debugger flag but the port doesn't seem to stay open.
  3. Which port should I connect to? (Firefox typically uses 6000)
  4. Is there any documentation on this?

The Firefox devtools are built in — you don't need to use Firefox (which
is possible but requires aligning the version):
