Zotero + Memento Integration

hi all,

I am new to this group. But I am very excited about zotero. I am
planning to make a plugin for zotero that can allow synchronization of
Memento (http://findnwrite.com/memento), an online bibliography
manager, with zotero, a desktop client for managing bibliography.

Zotero and Memento are complementary to each other with the same
objective. They both aim to facilitate bibliography management but
adopted different approaches. Thus, it makes an interesting project to
integrated the two and allow synchronizing of bibliographic data from
your desktop to web and effectively manage your bibliography locally
and globally.

What I am looking for is some helpful hints on how to start on
building this integration. Apart from the conceptual problems of
integrating two data sources, I am more interested in finding the API
of Zotero and how to build plugins for zotero. I have already search
zotero website and did extensive google to find complete Zotero API,
but didn't find anywhere. I am trying to find following things
1. Database schema of zotero - I have never worked before SQLite and
tried using SQLite browser but didn't go far enough
2. Zotero API
3. A tutorial explaining how to build plugin for Zotero - Looked at
sample plugin project and it was helpful..but still leaves many
doubts.

Also if anyone else is interested in making this integration between
memento and zotero possible, please let me know. I can definitely
appreciate a hand.
