Schema.org HTML + RDFa and/or HTML + Microdata export templates

How would I go about adding HTML + RDFa [1] and/or HTML + Microdata [2] export templates with Schema.org classes and properties to Zotero?

Zotero doesn't currently support importing these (though that's towards the top of my to-do list), but I'm not even sure how these would be exported. The idea of microdata is to make the metadata flow within the content, which allows for a lot of flexibility, so I can't think of how we would export it using a template.

If you can provide an example of what you expect, that would make it easier to consider.
