Zotero 5.0 is now available:

https://www.zotero.org/blog/zotero-5-0

As noted there, we'll be offering the upgrade to existing Zotero
Standalone users in a few weeks, and Zotero for Firefox users will be
automatically upgraded at the same time.

Let us know if you have any remaining questions about the technical
changes in 5.0.

Apologies all, I meant to forward that link to myself, not the Google group.

Congratulations and thanks to all for your hard work developing Zotero 5. Looking forward to using it.

Is there a timeline for the Electron port?

Congratulations on the 5.0 release! This is the end product of a lot of good work.

What is the plan for upcoming development on Zotero? I know I have seen several feature requests responded to as things that would be addressed once all the work for 5.0 was addressed. On the other hand, I guess the Electron is orthogonal to new features.

A time line for extra fields then perhaps for things like cite keys storage?
