Restoring focus to calling app after citation picker has been used

For the BBT CAYW  I call

await Zotero.Integration.execCommand('BetterBibTeX', 'addEditCitation', doc.id)

to have Zotero pop up the picker, but is there a way to restore focus to the application that previously had it before the pick forced Zotero into focus? I try minimizing zotero after the pick to restore focus but that doesn't appear to actually shift focus. is this something the calling application must do itself?
