Translators: Get book metadata from review

Hi,

we're using Zotero at our library to manage our acquisitions. When
reading books reviews we obviously would like to import the reviewed
books not as reviews but as books. Is that possible somehow? Ideally it
would be possible to have it both ways, i.e. being able to choose
whether to import as a book or as a review.

Dear Denis,

I am merely another ZOTERO user, but I am also collecting books and reviews, and here is what I do:

I grab the reviews as reviews in the journals or from the blogs where they were published with the ZOTERO browser add-on, then I go to a catalogue like WORLDCAT and get the book. I link the items by putting the respective itemIDs in the "extra field".
