Hi all,

I'm wondering what the preferred procedure is for marking plugins compatible with the next Zotero version. I obviously want to avoid my plugin being incompatible at any point, but I also want to actually test with a version as it will be released before marking as compatible.
Do you have a sense how long versions will be feature-frozen before release?
(Sorry if I missed a relevant post on this -- I saw the original announcement on the shorter release cycle, but that didn't have a lot of details).

Each release cycle, we'll make an announcement here when the beta is feature-frozen, which should be at least two weeks before the release. At that point, plugin developers can fix any last problems and bump compatibility. Developers will hopefully have been testing against the beta (which doesn't enforce plugin compatibility) the whole cycle, so there shouldn't be a lot left to fix during those final weeks.

Developers should not bump compatibility before that announcement, or set a far-future maximum version. We reserve the right to block plugins that do so, since it risks breakage or even data corruption.

We're aiming to freeze Zotero 10 within the next week.

How can I express "compatible with 9 and 10beta, but not necessarily 10"?

Betas don't enforce plugin compatibility.

This was exactly what I was looking for -- thanks!
