HD-DVD Now Officially Dead - Toshiba Press Release

Here is the "official" Toshiba press release which basically says that
they are stopping HD-DVD development, manufacturing and sales. The
Format Wars are officially at an end and Sony's Blu-Ray is the winner.
HD-DVD RIP.

Now the question remains, what is going to happen with Blu-Ray on
non-Windows platforms like Mac and Linux? Only time will tell.
