If this doesn't demonstrate just how much industry analysts just don't
get IT I don't what will. This is some of the worst FUD crap I've read
in a along time. Anyone who takes these idiots seriously deserves to
have their business go under, period. They fail to realize the sheer
immensity of the cost involved in switching to Vista Ultimate, not only
do you have to buy the overpriced software but you need to buy high-end
computers to run it and even with bulk discounts the price can
skyrocket. That also doesn't include the high-priced support contracts
companies will be forced to buy.

As usual for a stinking pile of FUD, I didn't see a shred of actual data to back up their claim of necessity.  Frankly, while protected mode and parental options are nice, it doesn't make up for the Jolly Rogering you'll get for buying the slug (multiple definitions apply) of an operating system.

Almost all agree, despite 'the great' directX 10, Vista has HORRIBLE gaming performance.  oops.  Now they're (and we are too) regretting not putting directX 10 out for XP.  Duh.  All in an attempt to strongarm customers into upgrading?  I really despise companies treating us like sheep.  The problem is that most are too ignorant or lazy to know better or do something about it.
