Upcoming Changes: Domain Management Compliances

Hi all,

1) Starting from November 10, 2022; ZORALab SHALL AND WILL NEVER ask, retain, or invoice you for any domain-registry renewal fees and ONLY manages the technological aspect of domain registrar like system inter-linking between registrar and network control system, Transport Layer Security (TLS), DNSSEC, infrastructure firefighting, and etc. They are now all set to be billed directly from our vendors and you have direct and full owner control over the domain account.

2) We had spent enough resources adjusting the domain managements to comply with the legal and financial safety for all our existing clients since October 2022. As the migrations had already been done before this announcement, no action is required on your side.

3) Why are we doing this:

1. To distinguish ourselves away from scamming tech centers originated from notable countries.
2. To make sure the legal and financial responsibilities and consequences are solely on the domain owner side.

E.g. If you use the domain for illegal business transactions (e.g. hosting gambling cansino without license, sending spam emails, and etc) or you lost the domain name to cybersquatter due to late payment or negligence, ZORALab shall not and will not be liable for it.

4) We will still service ONLY the technical part of the domain name management via our own vendor account. For anything else, we will only be an input advisor.
